  5. Feasts of Mary, Mother of All Christians, Most Powerful Intercessor with her son, Jesus Christ
"Now we know that God doth not hear sinners: but if a man be a server of God, and doth his will, him he heareth." John ix, 31.
  6. July 20, 1629: Our Lady of Grace, at Picpus, Fauborg Saint Antoine, Paris.

Notre Dame de Grace. Picpus, Faubourg St. Antoine, Paris. 1629. "This image, which is in a small ship of wood with two angels at the end, was made in 1629, from a splinter taken from the famous image of Our Lady of Boulogne-sur-Mer. (Triple Couronne, n. 47.)"

«This image, which is carved of wood in the shape of a small ship with two angels at the end, was made in the year 1629 from a splinter taken from the famous image of Our Lady of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Among the famous pilgrimages of Paris, that of the pilgrimage to the chapel of Picpus, in France, is said to rank fifth. The shrine contains the above mentioned statue, given in the sixteenth century to this monastery by the famous Capuchin Joyeuse, known as Pere Ange, and later transferred to Saint-Antione of Paris. Devotion to Mary retains its pristine fervor here, and many gifts and graces are bestowed on devotees by the Mother of Grace, Our Lady of Grace, Paris. Pilgrimages are as ancient as society itself, and in fact, all nations have had consecrated places, to which they have made it a duty to resort at certain periods of commemoration, to become more deeply penetrated with a sense of the benefits received from God, by visiting those spots which they believed to be sanctified by his presence or his miracles. God is everywhere, it is true. God hears in every place the prayer of faithful souls, and that in all places such prayer is granted; but what should hinder God from attaching certain favors to those ancient sanctuaries, where he has been pleased oftentimes to manifest his power by prodigies? Pilgrimages, which date from the deluge, which have been received by all nations, and which among Catholics strengthen religious feelings by opening the soul to a crowd of generous and sanctifying emotions, are therefore a thing good, laudable, useful, and agreeable to the Divinity. We see those pious practices held in honor from the early times of the Church; Mary, the holy women, and the apostles were the first pilgrims, and the faithful of Europe and Asia walked readily in their footsteps. They come in crowds to these places, and edify us by the splendor of their virtues. Their language is different, but their Catholic faith is the same.»

  7. July 20, Our Lady of Zocueca or Nuestra Senora de Zocueca, Bailen, Andalusia, Spain.

«It is assumed that the image of Our Lady of Zocueca in Bailen, in the province of Guarroman or Jaen, in Andalusia, has been moved from its original location in the now ruined large and powerful city of Oreto, during the Visigoth domination, between 320-330 AD. With the invasion of Spain by the Muslim Infidels in 713, the entire Hispano-Visigothic organization disappeared and, with it, the Bishopric of Oreto. Some of the inhabitants of Oreto flee, while others decided to remain under Muslim rule, which respects their language, customs and religion in exchange for certain taxes. These "Mozarab" Christians continue to venerate the Virgin Mary during the Muslim occupation. What remained of the old and illustrious city was given the Arabic name "Zuqueca" or "place of ruins," a term that for centuries will remain bound with the name of Mary. The Mozarabic Christians, with great sacrifices since they were poor people, and thanks to the donations collected with the indulgences issued by Pope Sixtus IV, were able to build up the present existing temple in 1632. Francisco de Mora, Bailen's Deputy Parish Priest, said that this image was certainly created by St Luke with cedar wood. In August 1936, during the Spanish Civil War, the sacred image of the Virgin of Zocueca was ruined by an ax. After the war, Mrs. Dolores Sanmartin Ochoa donated a new image of Our Lady, located today in the Sanctuary of El Rumblar. The current image is the work of the sculptor José María Alcacer, who managed to reproduce a perfect and faithful copy of the original. The size is small, about 50 cm. Five precious dresses were donated to the Virgin, one of which, red, was given by Isabella II, while the Duke of Bailen made one of white velvet with gold embroidery. The origin of the Zocueca Sanctuary dates back to the medieval period. The original sanctuary was renovated in the 15th century, but the current building was completed only in the 17th century. The coronation feast is celebrated every July 20. In 1681, due to a cholera epidemic the devotees of the Virgin of Zocueca raised prayers and supplications to be freed from the evil that devastated the entire region, proposing as a vow also a fast on the day before the feast.»

One day a Roman prefect saw the beautiful young Margaret as she was tending sheep, and tried to get her into his bed. When she refused, the official denounced her as a outlaw Christian, and she was brought to trial. When she refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods, the authorities tried to burn her, then boil her in a large cauldron; each time her prayers kept her unharmed. She was finally martyred by beheading. Part of her story involves her meeting the devil in the form of a dragon, being swallowed by the dragon, and then escaping safely when the cross she carried irritated the dragon's innards; this accounts for this virgin's association with pregnancy, labour, and childbirth. NOT A SAINT
  1. The Apostate Vatican 2 sect suggests that Elias Chavchavadse, died August 30, 1907, and celebrated by the Heretical Georgian sect for July 20, is a "Saint" and a "Martyr." The Catholic Church excludes that possibility. He lived, and died a heretic, a member of a sect, and therefore, as per Unam Sanctam and the Council of Florence's Cantate Domino, he is damned in hell.
