«9th century. Our Lady of Kuehn, or Kuen, now in Belgium. The crops were poor; there was much sickness, but Our Lady would not let her people plead in vain. She knew what hunger, poverty and pain was. She would help. Fervently, confidently, lovingly, the people gathered at Mary's little shrine and asked their Mother for aid. Suddenly the image of Mary smiled and a sweet voice begged them to erect a church in her honor and to build it on this spot. Our Lady promised that on the morrow she would show them where and how. The dimensions of the church are said to have been marked out with a line which is still visible.» We have only this very truncated narrative. I have not been able to find more information. - + St Rathard, priest, today is his birthday in the Lord, August 8, year is lost. The successor of St Simpert to the episcopal see in Augsburg was St Hanto from Andechs. He had a brother named Rathard. This Rathard renounced all the honors and pleasures in the world, which his parentage promised him, and became a priest. He wanted to sacrifice his inheritance to Christ the Lord; that is why he built a church dedicated to St George on the Ammersee, where Diessen now stands, and founded a monastery at the same place for priests who, according to the rule of St. Augustine, were to lead a common life. After his death, Christians made pilgrimages to his grave in order to obtain help in their needs and sufferings through his intercession. The many miracles God worked through him are a testimony of his holiness. In the subsequent devastation of the Bavarian region by the pagan Hungarians, the monastery and the church in Diessen were completely destroyed. It is not known if this happened when Arnulf called the Hungarians for help, or at the time of Emperor Otto before the battle on the Lechfeld. After this devastation, two pious priests, Ulric and Adalbert, undertook to rebuild the church. When they were clearing away the rubble and trying to dig a bottom, they came across a stone coffin. They wanted to lift the lid off, but couldn't. Only after they had prayed to God could Ulric lift the coffin out on his own without any effort. Ulrich learned through divine grace that this was St Rathard and when he opened the coffin, a heavenly fragrance spread far around. The church and the monastery were restored. Countless sick people came to Rathard's grave and, at his intercession, gained perfect health. The provost Hartwich had the bones of the blessed raised and buried in the middle of the new church. The church was consecrated on August 8, 1114 with the permission of Bishop Walter of Augsburg by Bishop Anselm of Havelburg. In 1494 the dilapidated church was completely rebuilt and the bones of St Rathard were buried under the middle altar. The veneration of the Saint was still growing. Sao Doming-acem Fest / Festa do São Domingos de Gusmão / Feast of St Dominic de Guzman
St Dominic Felix de Guzman died August 6, 1221, his Dies Natalis, the same day as the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ.. After he was Canonized a Saint, Pope Paul IV fixed his feast for August 4.In October 1958, Pope Pius XII died. A group of Non-Catholics, Modernist Liberal Protestants, seized the Vatican. They openly reject the First Commandment, reject what the Catholic Church has always and unchangeably taught, instead teaching that all gods are one, all religions are true, all ways, "if walked in faithfulness," lead to Eternal Salvation. These are Satanists. In 1969, these Satanists have pretended to have changed the feast of St Dominic from August 4 to August 8.
Only if you believe, with these Satanists, Roncalli, Montini, Luciani, Wojtyla, Ratzinger and Bergoglio, that the God of the Bible is the same as the Demons Allah, Buddha, Ganpati, Krishna, Rama, etc., only then can you accept the "Authority" of Non-Catholics to "change" a Catholic liturgical feast, to change the feast of a Catholic Saint!
Accepting this, acceptance whether explicit or implicit, active or passive, is a Grave Insult to God, a grave Mortal Sin, for which you are guaranteed Eternal Damnation in Hell.
