Menology Entry for December 31:  Feast of Pope St. Sylvester I, Confessor, died December 31, 335 A.D., 33rd Pope, he was the 1st Pope to not die a martyr;  Vigil of the Circumcision, & of the Holy Name of our Lord God Jesus Christ.
