Menology Entry for December 16:
(Crowned icon of Our Lady of the Raft).

Our Lady of Almadia, Spanish, or Madonna della Madia, Italian, for "Our Lady of the Raft:" «Bishop Romuald began work on a new Cathedral in the city of Monopoli in Apulia in Italy in 1107 A.D., but it was halted for the lack of roof beams. In the early morning of December 16, 1117 A.D., Our Lady thrice appeared to a parishioner Mercurius, at night, instructing him to advise Romuald that the needed wood beams had arrived in the harbor, & each time, Romuald dismissed Mercurius as deluded; a 4th time, Mercurius visited the harbor, & saw a raft floating, & once again rushed to Romuald, insisting that he had now himself seen the wood in the harbor. A Greek Icon of Our Lady was found on the raft. The raft beams were used to construct the roof. In 1738, an endowment by Julius Sacchi, Bishop of Monopoli, enabled reconstruction; the old church was razed, & construction began in 1742, being completed in the Baroque style in 1772. In 1770, the icon of Our Lady of Madia was crowned following a decree by Pope Clement XIII. In 1921, the cathedral was declared a minor basilica.» (link);

(Restored Icon of Our Lady of the Raft).

«Pope Benedict XIII, who, as cardinal, had  several times prayed before the icon of Our Lady of the Raft, Madonna della Madia, with an Apostolic Brief of March 5, 1727 granted in perpetuity a plenary indulgence to those who, having confessed & taken communion, prayed before the Virgin of Madia during the Octave of the Assumption. The same Pontiff, with an apostolic brief of December 6, 1727, added a plenary indulgence to those who visit the Cathedral Church of Monopoli on December 16 &, furthermore, declared its altar privileged in perpetuity for all Requiem Masses (link);

Our Lady of the New Advent is a FALSE & DEMONIC "feast" observed by the Prostitute Church today, December 16; "New Advent" is the claim by the Apostate "Vatican2" Sect that the Pandemonium of the Latrocinium of "Vatican2," by summarily abrogating 2000 years of Catholicism, & replacing it with the Apostate Heresy of Modernism, Excommunicated by Pope St. Pius X, and which Modernist heresy is a subset of Liberal Protestantism, constitutes a "New Advent" or "New Pentecost," abrogating & supplanting the original Pentecost & Advent of Christ & of His Gospel! (link);

St. Aggeus, Old Testament Prophet, or, as the Protestants call him, after the Deicides Jews (Apocalypse or Revelation ii, 9 & iii, 9), "Haggai," has his feast on December 29, on the Gregorian Calendar, or on December 16, on the Julian Calendar; the Prostitute Church imbecilically, brainlessly, mindlessly, "copies" the Cacodox heretics, regardless of the fact that the Cacodox celebrate St. Aggeus on December 29 Gregorian / December 16 Julian!
